Belarus’ Ambassador met with heads of Iraqi ministries
As part of his working trip to Iraq, Viktor Rybak, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Turkiye and the Republic of Iraq concurrently, has met with Iraqi Interior Minister Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The parties discussed the development of practical co-operation between the relevant agencies of Belarus and Iraq, the expansion of the legal framework and the exchange of experience.
The Ambassador discussed with Iraq’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Naim Al-Aboudi the possibilities of Belarusian-Iraqi interaction in higher education, advanced training and retraining of specialists, as well as the development of contacts between educational institutions of both countries.
Viktor Rybak has also met with Minister of Youth and Sports of Iraq Ahmed Al-Mubarqa. Agreements have been reached on further steps to expand liaisons in the field of training athletes and the use of Belarusian sports facilities for this purpose.
Ambassador Viktor Rybak invited the heads of the Iraqi agencies to visit Belarus to continue contacts with relevant ministries.
