39 representatives of various fields of activity honoured with state awards
State awards have been bestowed upon thirty-nine representatives of various fields of activity, following Decree No. 462 signed by President Aleksandr Lukashenko on December 11th, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service
Orders, medals and honorary titles were awarded to them for many years of fruitful work, high professionalism, courage and determination shown in saving a person on the water, merits in forensic expertise, protection of the state border, significant personal contribution to the implementation of socio-economic and state policy, elimination of the consequences of natural emergencies, military-patriotic education of the younger generation, improvement of tax and judicial systems, development of agriculture and forestry, peat industry, construction, veteran movement, excellent achievements in the fields of science, statistics, healthcare, education, culture, and sports.
Among the awardees is Aleksandr Turchin, Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee: the Order of the Fatherland 3rd Class was bestowed upon him.
In addition, honorary titles have been awarded to the figures of culture and arts.
The Head of State also signed an order to announce the Gratitude of the President of Belarus.
