Putin to pay official visit to China on May 16th-17th
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to China on May 16th-17th, TASS reports
The Kremlin's press service reported, “At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a state visit to the People's Republic of China on May 16th-17th, 2024, as his first foreign trip after taking office." It is also noted that the visit will cover two cities: Beijing and Harbin.
“The Russian leader will also visit Harbin, the administrative centre of the Heilongjiang Province, to take part in the opening ceremony of the eighth Russian-Chinese EXPO and the fourth Russian-Chinese Forum on Interregional Co-operation, and also to meet with students and teachers of Harbin Polytechnic University,” the source added.
