Media: worm found in Kennedy Jr.'s brain
The New York Times reported that a dead parasite – that could eat part of the brain – was allegedly found in the head of American politician Robert Kennedy Jr., who announced his intention to participate in the US presidential election, RIA Novosti reports
According to the publication, the doctor believed that the abnormality seen on Mr. Kennedy Jr.'s scans ‘was caused by a worm that got into the brain, ate a portion of it and then died’.
It is reported that the politician turned to doctors because of memory loss and mental fogginess. Mr. Kennedy Jr.'s brain scans showed a dark spot, and it was initially believed to be a tumour.
Neurosurgeons, based on what Mr. Kennedy Jr. described, suggest that there is a pork tapeworm larva in the politician’s brain. Also, some doctors doubt that the parasite could really have eaten a part of his brain.
