Lukashenko instructed to speed up cleanup on the ground

During today’s working trip to the Kostyukovichi District, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed to speed up the cleanup activities on the ground. First of all, the Head of State visited the cornfield of the Tsemagro branch No. 1 of the Belarusian Cement Plant, where he was informed about the progress of spring field works in Belarus and in the Mogilev Region.

The President got acquainted with the progress of corn sowing, as well as samples of new and restored depreciated agricultural machinery.

“We are currently engaged in land reclamation,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted. “Forest accounts for 2-3 or even 5 hectares of the field. Let them [farms] take this piece of forest, and we have to pay them for these land clearance operations.”

The President stressed that farms of any form of ownership should be involved in land and forest clearing, but they should be interested in this, and their costs should be compensated.

“Think about how to do it,” the Head of State instructed.

According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the second topic deals with old farms, buildings and premises.

“All this must be removed. If necessary, we need to involve the Emergencies Ministry and the military,” the President said.
