Belarus’ Foreign Minister, Palestinian Ambassador discuss prospects for normalisation of Gaza Strip situation
Belarus’ Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik has met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Palestine to Belarus, Ahmed Mohammed Al-Madbuh, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The two sides shared views on the current situation in the Middle East region, as well as prospects for normalisation of the situation in the Gaza Strip.
The parties called for an early and just resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, which requires political will, the resumption of the negotiation process and the intensification of efforts by all involved and interested parties.
On the occasion of the appointment of a new government in the State of Palestine, Sergei Aleinik conveyed congratulatory messages from the Belarusian side and expressed hope for continued joint work on the development of bilateral relations in the political, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
