Divin border outpost named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant Aleksei Lopatin

The Divin border outpost of the 20th border detachment of Belarus’ border service was named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant Aleksei Lopatin, with the corresponding decree No. 180 signed by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko on April 29th, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

This decision of the Head of State was made for the purpose of patriotic education of young people, preservation of historical memory, popularisation of military traditions and military service in the border guard service.
