Belarus’ Defence Ministry representatives participate in international seminar on Vienna Document in Almaty

Representatives of Belarus’ Defence Ministry participate in the international seminar on the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence and Security Building Measures (known as Vienna Document) in Almaty, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the military department

The seminar is organised by the Defence Ministry of Kazakhstan in co-operation with the OSCE Programme Office in Astana. More than 40 representatives of Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, Germany, Hungary, Denmark, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Netherlands, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and the OSCE Secretariat have come to take part in the event.

"The seminar programme includes a lecture by a Belarusian serviceman. An exchange of views will take place on the issues of the Vienna Document and conventional arms control in the OSCE area as a whole. The meeting participants will also conduct a training inspection of the specified area in accordance with the provisions of the Vienna Document," the Belarusian Defence Ministry reported.
