Lukashenko put Belarus’ Constitutional Court judge under oath
The Chairman of the Belarusian People's Congress, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko, has put today Constitutional Court judge Svetlana Lyubetskaya under oath. Among those present at the ceremony were also the chairmen of the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly, as well as of the Supreme and Constitutional courts.
In a solemn atmosphere, Svetlana Lyubetskaya pronounced the text of the oath, committing herself to honestly, conscientiously and impartially defend the constitutional system and the supremacy of the Constitution of Belarus. Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Svetlana Lyubetskaya on assuming the post of judge of the Constitutional Court, handed her a judge's certificate and a gift copy of the Constitution.
