Lukashenko: US made many mistakes, muddying the waters now

The United States has made a lot of mistakes, and it is now muddying the waters – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko after taking part in today’s celebrations on the occasion of Victory Day, BelTA reports

"They lack something. The Dollar is about to collapse. What will happen if the Dollar collapses? Their economy actually relies on paper, and they print Dollars if needed. They say inflation is caused by a large volume of money. No need to give a damn, inflation falls on our shoulders, and that's what they are most afraid of,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

For the same reason, the United States is putting pressure on the European Union, which once decided not to use Dollars and introduced its own currency. However, China is the main rival for the United States. In this confrontation, the former has teamed up with a powerful nuclear power: Russia.

The President said that, several years ago, he discussed these issues with former CIA Director and former US Secretary of State Michael Pompeo. "That's what I told him: ‘You're crazy’. – ‘Why, Mr. President?’ – ‘Because you have united your enemies into one whole’. – ‘We'll figure it out’. – ‘You won't figure it out. At least, Mike, you're late’. They will not figure it out. They have made a lot of mistakes. They [Americans] have no other way: they need a mess, need to muddy the waters and catch something there. This is their policy today,” Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.

The Head of State also drew attention to the fact that the United States does not want peace in the European region, therefore it continues to support the conflict in Ukraine. "We want peace. We do not want to fight. We also do not Ukraine to be a springboard for an attack. Do you think they are focusing on Russia only? There will be nothing left of us. That is why we are together with Russia, and that’s not only because we are allies," the Belarusian leader said.
