Magadan producers could establish a fish processing plant in our country – as stated by President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko during today’s meeting with Governor of Russia’s Magadan Region Sergei Nosov
According to the President, the Magadan Region is rich in fish and seafood, which Belarusians do not have as many on the table as they would like.
“There is a demand. We only need direct deliveries and an adequate price. If you wish, you can set up your own processing facilities in Belarus with an eye to our market, as well as to the markets of logistically close cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg – and other countries,” the Belarusian leader noted.
The Head of State also drew attention to the prospects for co-operation in tourism, sanatorium recreation and medical services.
“Belarus boasts high standards and affordable prices in these areas. Moreover, Russian citizens are very happy to come to us as tourists, and they can also receive appropriate sanatorium treatment and medical services. Therefore, we are waiting for you if you have such a need and opportunity,” the Belarusian leader added.
Summing up, the President stressed that Belarus will support the promising initiatives that will be agreed upon, and will definitely fulfil them.
