Blinken announced allocation of additional $2bn to Ukraine for military needs

The United States intends to allocate an additional $2bn in military financing to Ukraine through a new defence industry fund – as stated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Kiev, TASS reports

"I would like to add that we will provide Ukraine with an additional $2 billion through the new defence industry fund," Mr. Blinken said.

According to the Secretary of State, the US new fund aims to assist Kiev in purchasing weapons from other allies and developing Ukraine’s own military-industrial complex.
