Lukashenko congratulated Belarusians on National Flag, Emblem and Anthem Day

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Belarusians on the holiday: National Flag, Emblem and Anthem Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

In his sincere address to all Belarusians on the occasion of National Flag, Emblem and Anthem Day, the Head of State said, “These symbols reflect the fate of the people, their difficult path to peace and creation in their native land. Every word of the anthem, every element of the flag and the state emblem invisibly reveal a retrospective of the life of Belarusians – from the very origins to the bright achievements of our modern days.”

As noted by the President, the state symbols of sovereign Belarus embody the outstanding achievements of its people: climbing Mount Everest and conquering space, scientific discoveries and victories in sports, the creation of high-tech industries and unique works of art, the power and defence capability of the Fatherland. “They are the pride for our country and our people,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

The Head of State added, “On this festive May day, I wish you, dear fellow countrymen, good health, family happiness, joy and new successes for the benefit of the Motherland.”
