Lukashenko confirmed Belarus' interest in expanding co-operation with Cameroon

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Cameroon Paul Biya on National Day of the Republic of Cameroon, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"This holiday is one of the most important national symbols of unity and patriotism for the Cameroonian people,” the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State confirmed Belarus' interest in expanding co-operation with this country in various areas, primarily in trade and economic affairs.

"I am confident that the implementation of projects in Cameroon with Belarus’ participation in the field of agricultural mechanisation, infrastructure development, mining and processing of minerals could further strengthen the agricultural and industrial potential of the state for the benefit of its citizens," the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Paul Biya good health, happiness and success, also wishing peace and prosperity to the people of Cameroon.
