Lukashenko to attend military parade on Red Square in Moscow on Victory Day

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko will attend today's parade in honour of the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will be held on Red Square in Moscow, BelTA reports

The leaders of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Cuba, Laos, and Guinea-Bissau are also expected to be among the foreign distinguished guests.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will address the participants and guests of the parade.

More than 9 thousand people, over 70 units of military equipment, as well as aviation will participate in the parade on Red Square.

It is planned that, after the parade, the leaders will lay wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden at the Kremlin Wall.

Aleksandr Lukashenko arrived in Moscow on a working visit the day before. On May 8th, the President took part in the anniversary summit of the Eurasian Economic Union in the Kremlin.
