“The people of Belarus and the Netherlands did not have rich natural resources and favourable climatic conditions, but we’ve managed to ensure the stable development of our states thanks to exceptional hard work and ingenuity, as well as openness to contacts and interaction. In today’s difficult conditions, we must listen and understand each other more carefully, respect the interests of the parties and strive for peaceful coexistence,” the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined that Belarus is aimed to maintain friendly relations, strengthening co-operation in culture, education, tourism, sports and especially in the economic sphere, where our countries boast significant achievements. “We invite you to write the modern history of Europe together with us and to provide our descendants with a safe future and prospects for normal development through interaction,” the President noted.

The Head of State wished all residents of the Kingdom of the Netherlands peace, well-being and prosperity.
