During the meeting with representatives of the Polish Ministry of State Assets, the privatisation of Ukrainian facilities planned for the summer was discussed. Vitaliy Koval noted that the parties agreed to send a delegation from Warsaw to explore the possibilities of privatisation in the chemical and titanium industries, as well as in the food industry, including bread factories. Privatisation plans also include the auctioning of large facilities with a starting value of 250m Hryvnia and the leasing of state agricultural lands.

These steps became possible after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s signing of the law on accelerating the privatisation of state property and setting the task for the State Property Fund to launch large-scale privatisation.
