The Head of State explained, “In case of complex urban development in Magadan, after appropriate adaptation, it is possible to use Belarusian design documentation for the construction of educational, sports, commercial facilities, as well as multifunctional complexes and all engineering infrastructure.”

The supply of electrical equipment and materials is another promising area, according to Aleksandr Lukashenko. “Taking into account the projects being implemented in your region – such as the construction of a hydroelectric power plant and transmission lines for power supply – we can offer you the widest range of cable products and transformers,” he addressed the Russian Governor.

Actually, exports of Belarusian consumer goods and food to Russian regions are a traditional area of co-operation, and Magadan cannot be an exception in this regard. The President noted, “I know that work is already underway to open a large store selling Belarusian goods in Magadan. In addition to high-quality food, we are ready to deliver furniture, textiles, carpets, shoes, household chemicals, and cosmetics.”

The President also made a proposal to organise the production of dairy products from Belarusian raw materials in the Magadan Region, “We have enough top-class enterprises that are ready to share their competencies in milk processing and creating delicious, healthy and high-quality products with a long shelf life. Of course, we can also arrange direct deliveries of ready-made meat and dairy products, confectionery, canned vegetables, juices and everything that is in demand in your social institutions and retail trade.”
