Zelenskyy doesn’t rule out possibility of destabilising the situation in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he fears a new Maidan is being prepared in the country, with details reported by RIA Novosti
The politician, quoted by Bloomberg, said that ‘Ukrainian intelligence has such information, which also came from our partners’. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also noted that he refers to Maidan 3, the next coup d’etat after the events of 2004 and 2014. The Ukrainian leader believes that Russia is allegedly preparing a new operation.
Earlier, the American newspaper Washington Post reported on the growing split in Ukrainian society and the loss of morale due to the flaring up political struggle in the upper echelons of power and the lack of success of the AFU on the battlefield. Moreover, several Ukrainian and Western media wrote about a possible conflict between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
Head of the News Front news agency Konstantin Knyrik previously expressed the opinion that political technology in Ukraine has created the prerequisites for replacing the presidential elections with an armed coup.
