Politico named Putin one of Europe’s most influential people
Russian President Vladimir Putin has been included in the list of the most influential people in Europe according to Politico newspaper, TASS reports
According to media reports, the Russian leader was awarded the second place in the ‘Doers’ main category. Politico named Italian PM Giorgia Meloni as Europe’s most powerful person for 2025.
In addition, alongside Vladimir Putin, the list of the most influential people in Europe includes Polish PM Donald Tusk, President of the European Investment Bank Nadia Calvinio, new European Council President Antonio Costa, Hungarian PM Viktor Orban, new European Union High Representative Kaja Kallas, leader of France’s National Rally parliamentary faction Marine Le Pen, Pope Francis, and other prominent figures.
