Orban: Trump's victory not felt so far
Donald Trump's victory in the Presidential election in the United States is not yet felt in the context of the conflict in Ukraine – as stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, RIA Novosti reports
On the air of Kossuth Radio, Viktor Orban noted, “The fact that Donald Trump’s victory in the American election is not yet felt in the current military situation is a big trouble. We need to live through the coming six weeks. We are actively working diplomatically for a ceasefire and for peace."
The Prime Minister added that ‘the US government, that has recently lost the election, decided to allocate a new huge sum of money to Ukraine’, while the European Parliament adopted ‘an alarming’ resolution demanding continued military support for Kiev, which means an increase in the intensity of the conflict.
