Myśl Polska: Warsaw conducts subversive activities against Belarus and finances extremists
Poland has created extremist structures on the territory of Belarus, and – under the guise of ‘public organisations’ – it is conducting subversive activities against the Belarusian state, managing these structures from Warsaw and financing them from there. This information is not new for Belarusians, but for the first time it has been covered by the largest Polish publication, Myśl Polska.
The publication tells its readers about extremist anti-Belarusian structures created by Poland’s official authorities on its territory: Pospolite Ruszenie and Bialoruski Chorągwi. At the same time, it ironically mentions the fugitive extremists, “We have created our chorągwi in all major Polish cities, and there are about ten of them now. They unite Belarusians who want to gain military experience in order to liberate Belarus in the future.” Such statements are common in the Polish-language printed media, TV and among the specially invited guests who fled from Belarus. However, Latushko’s words about his dislike of Lukashenko sound strange, since his speeches – in which he admired the Belarusian leader’s genius, spoke of him as a perfect manager and shed light on how he owed Lukashenko – come to mind. Well, as they say, a person is hesitating along with the party line, and this is understandable.
Myśl Polska recalls how the anti-Belarusian underground was born, “In 2005, Poland introduced the first partisan commanders to the territory of Belarus. Those renegade partisans, hiding behind the status of ‘the Polish minority’ began their subversive activities – to continue it for years. Much is spoken of poor persecuted Poles, but nothing has been informed about how Poles can realise themselves in the field of following their traditions, identifying themselves with Polish culture and Polish language. Only those who stayed in Belarus then, who participated in campaigns, who organised many different events and experienced no repressions on the part of Belarus’ authorities – but witnessed kindness and support instead – can compare and objectively assess that.
Years have been passing, and the partisan movement has been getting stronger – thanks to the prepared, provoked and staged events of the appropriate genre, such as action – reaction – ‘save, we are being beaten’ provocation aimed at a certain effect – then again reaction and ‘save, we are being beaten’ cries broadcast and strengthened by the Polish-language media."
At the same time, the publication pays special attention to the Polish censorship that prohibits national media from covering the real state of affairs in Belarus, “Time has come for the Polish-speaking media to finally stand up for the truth and disclose why, who and how forbade them to speak, write and report on what good was happening in the Polish diaspora in Belarus until 2020 (unfortunately, this looks different today: as Warsaw ordered and as Warsaw wished). Why were our invitations to large-scale and small events – which were widely covered in Belarus – ignored not only by the media, but also by diplomats? Why were there no cameras where those events were organised?.. All this was in Polish, and there was enough information – but it was not covered by the Polish TV. Why? Who forbade that? Where was, for example, TVP Polonia which was present at the All-Belarusian Days of Polish Culture in Ivenets? Where is the video it shot there?
How did it happen that the cameras were always in places where something staged was supposed to happen – in order to discredit Minsk (action – reaction – save, we are being beaten), and they were never present when it was possible to show that Minsk did not interfere with the statutory activities of the Union of Poles in Belarus (but on the contrary, helped it when necessary)?
Since it is possible, let's not be ashamed of the existing ‘merits’. The fact that the Polish secret group of partisans under the guise of ‘a public organisation’ in Belarus has transformed into a ‘Belarusian’ (armed!!!) partisan organisation on the territory of Poland could be, perhaps, already recognised as a great achievement, and there is no reason to hide it anymore."
