Speaking about the prospects for the development of the engineering branch in the country, Aleksandr Lukashenko noted, “Now we are planning to create high-tech incubators – centres of progressive ideas – on the basis of specialised universities. They will be established for people like you: purposeful and ambitious young men and girls, who have fresh ideas and non-standard thinking when solving scientific and applied problems. I think the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics should implement such a project, and we will support you.”

According to the President, engineers who will come directly to production, factories and agricultural organisations in the near future will not be ignored either. “Decent working conditions, including wages, and social support will be a priority of our policy in the next five years. It is very important for me to understand how well you feel your responsibility for the future of the country, how well you are aware of the events and facts that form the international and domestic information agenda of today,” Aleksandr Lukashenko addressed students.
