Lukashenko extended condolences to Myanmar over victims of Yagi typhoon

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to the Prime Minister of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Administration Council Min Aung Hlaing, in connection with the victims of the typhoon, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

"Unfortunately, your country was affected by the tragedy that typhoon Yagi brought. Hundreds of residents became victims of the disaster, and the national economy was seriously damaged. In this difficult time, on behalf of the Belarusian people and myself, I am sending the words of deep compassion to you, to the families of the victims, and all citizens who suffered from the consequences of the typhoon," the message of condolences reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished that the situation in Myanmar would return to normal as soon as possible, and people would feel safe and calm again.
