Lukashenko: Belarus, Armenia bound by strong bonds of friendship, common history, traditional family and Christian values

On behalf of all Belarusians and himself, President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan and the friendly people of this country on national holiday: Independence Day, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian leader’s press service

“Belarus and Armenia are bound by strong bonds of friendship, common history, traditional family and Christian values. Our citizens are united by Victory in the Great Patriotic War, joint heroic overcoming of the consequences of the Spitak earthquake, participation in integration structures and close business partnership," the congratulatory message reads.

The Head of State expressed confidence that, in the current conditions, it is necessary to unite and co-operate in order to survive and continue to develop successfully. "Minsk will continue to advocate for the expansion of a mutually respectful and constructive dialogue with Yerevan," the President stressed.
