12-year-old girl from Palestine shared her impressions of Belarus’ Main New Year Tree event

Among the young guests who gathered at the Palace of the Republic at the charity event, held as part of Our Children campaign, were children from Donbass, Latvia, as well as families with children evacuated from the Gaza Strip. One of the girls with refugee status, 12-year-old Nakhet, shared her impressions with reporters.

She admits that it’s his first time at the New Year tree. Her eyes sparkle with undisguised delight, her face is smiling, although what families in Palestine are experiencing today can only bring tears.

“There were robots there, and it was very funny,” the girl appreciated the fabulous performance, entitled New Year’s Time Machine. “I enjoy in Belarus greatly!”

Nakhet admits that, just like Belarusian children, wrote a letter to Father Frost, wishing as a gift, “A flower, be with my parents, good wishes and peace!”
