Tusk: Poland began fortifying its eastern border

Poland has begun work on fortifying the border with Belarus and Ukraine – as stated by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, TASS reports with reference to the TVP Info TV channel

According to Donald Tusk, during a visit to the Polish-Belarusian border, the state began work over a modern fortification, and – according to the Polish Prime Minister – it is intensively progressing. Donald Tusk also clarified that fortification in many dimensions is planned, and citizens will be informed on the fortification process.

The Prime Minister also appealed to the EU countries for financial assistance. At the same time, he did not explain exactly what kind of work Poland will do to strengthen the border.
